Grief Support
Volunteers To Support Those Dealing With Grief
Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois offers a variety of volunteer opportunities. We are always looking for individuals to assist our grief support staff while helping our families as well.
Volunteers may assist staff in the office or, when trained, are able to reach out to our clients through telephone and mail support services. Our volunteers also help with activities at grief support programs, including Camp Courage, our summertime day camp, and Remember U, a support group for children and teens, as well as at our memorial services.
Volunteers must complete a special training course and meet specific requirements.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mary Ann Greene, Center for Care manager for further details.
