November 14, 2009 $1 Million Dollar Donation to Hospice
Last fall, Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois provided end-of-life care to an ailing woman, something its care teams do for many patients every day. Last week, that patient's grateful husband made a $1 million gift in her memory to the agency's capital campaign to build a new inpatient facility in Barrington.

Parker Williams learned to love school at an early age. In 2005, Parker's parents enrolled him as the first patient of Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois Hope's Friends program. Under the umbrella of hospice and palliative care pediatric patients and their families receive personalized end-of-life care and support.

October 01, 2009 Musikantow Brings Experience to Organization
With a new $18.5 million facility under construction. Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois' new president and chief executive officer. Cindy Musikantow, has plenty of work to do.
Musikantow took over on Sept. 8 and will oversee the completion of the new Pepper Family Hospice Home, 450 Lake Zurich Road, which is tentatively scheduled to open on July 1.2010.
