Ways to Give to Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois
How you can help!
Cash, Check, or Credit Card: Write a check made payable to Hospice Foundation or with a credit card by phone or on the donation page of this website. We accept Visa, MC, American Express & Discover. Donations can be made in memory of or in honor of someone you love and the family of the deceased or honoree will receive notification that a gift has been made (no amount will be listed).
Gifts of Stock or Personal Property: You may find that you will benefit in substantial tax savings by gifting appreciated securities or real estate. Please check with your advisors. Contact Donna Kassens at 224-770-2411 or Maria Liedlich at 224-770-2416 for information.
Company Matching Gifts: Many employers will match contributions made by their employees. Check with your Human Resources office to obtain a form to accompany your gift.
Building a Legacy of Care: Your gift can be directed to help fund our new facility, the Pepper Family Hospice Home and Center for Care. Funding will be directed to special projects within the building or for operations. Engraved bricks are available by contacting Maria Liedlich at 224-770-2416.
Attend or Sponsor One of Our Events: Three main annual events include gala, two duck races, and a barn dance to support operations. Other one-time events are also held throughout the year or you can help organize a third party event. Contact Kristin Frazier at 224-770-2414 or Michelle Sacchitello at 224-770-2415 for more information.
In-Kind Donation: Goods or services are always appreciated to use as raffle prizes at an event or as something that might be useful to our general operations.
Grants: If you are personally involved with your own family foundation and would like to make a gift, or if you have knowledge of another foundation or grant application that might be a good fit with one of our programs, please contact Vicki Shaw at 224-770-2412.
Volunteer Your Time: You could volunteer to be part of an event committee, walk in a parade to promote one of the duck races, participate in soliciting in-kind donations as raffle prizes, make sponsorship calls, or help out with administrative tasks in the office.
