FOUNDATION SLATES SPECIAL EVENTS FOR 2010

It’s time to mark your calendars for the Hospice Foundation of Northeastern Illinois' special events, fun occasions which help the agency raise funds and spread awareness about hospice care.  

Organized by the Foundation Event Volunteers, you can help by:

  • attending an event
  • volunteering on the event committee
  • volunteering on the day of event
  • financially sponsoring the event
  • donating goods or services to the event

Woodstock Water Works-Emrickson Park, Woodstock
This 2nd annual family fun event supports Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois. Open swimming, carnival games, DJ, contests, food, and duck races with prizes. 6th Annual Peggy Kinnane's Golf Outing
Tuesday, Aug. 31
Old Orchard Country Club, Mt. Prospect
Proceeds from this popular annual event, held in memory of Jack Hanley, benefit Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois. Enjoy a day on the links and help care for those in need. Tree of Lights: A Remembrance Celebration -
Sunday, Dec. 5
4-6 p.m.
Old Courthouse Art Gallery and Woodstock Square,
This community gathering allows people to remember, honor and celebrate those who have been lights in our lives. Join us indoors for music, reflection ceremony and fellowship, followed by a candle-lighting ceremony outdoors by the Hospice tree. Members of the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois Bereavement staff will be on hand.

Third Party Events

Host your own event to raise money for Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois. People have arranged golf outings, dinners, picnics, garage sales, dances and bake sales, have participated in races and marathons in memory of loved ones and have presented HNI with wonderful contributions.
