Patient Care Education
Many people have the firm belief that no matter what, they will care for their loved ones if they become seriously ill. Being a caregiver can be a rewarding and meaningful experience. But caregiving can also be physically exhausting and emotionally challenging. To help make the caregiving journey less stressful and more meaningful and manageable, The Education Center at Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois offers a variety of educational information designed specifically to support those who are caring for loved ones with a life-limiting condition.
Caregivers of our hospice patients may also ask for additional patient care education from their loved one’s hospice team members, or from our Patient Care Services staff.
Please feel free to contact Patient Care Services at 224-770-2424. Assistance via the phone is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week 365 days a year.
