Cindy Musikantow
President, Chief Executive Officer
Cindy Musikantow brings more than two decades of heath care experience to the position of president and Chief Executive Officer at HNI. Former president and chief executive officer of Trinity Hospice, Dallas, Texas, she also held the position of Senior Vice President at Brookdale Senior Living from 2006-2008 in Chicago, and an eight-year tenure with Sunrise Senior Living from 1999-2006, serving as Vice President of Midwest Operations, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Senior Vice President of Market Strategy and Product Development. Prior to joining Sunrise, she served as chief executive officer at Linden Oaks Hospital, and as marketing director and vice president of corporate marketing for Psychiatric Institutes of America and Nu-Med Psychiatric respectively. Cindy resides in Evanston with her husband, and has two grown sons.

Eileen Grace, RN
Chief Nursing Officer
Eileen came to HNI in 2007 with an extensive background in the hospice field, as a clinitian, educator and administrator. Eileen joined the agency as the Clinical Educator and soon after was promoted to Director of Clinical Operations. In the two years, she has launched a Continuing Education Units program for professional staff at hospitals and nursing homes, and has arranged for professional education for HNI staff. She now oversees all patient care delivery to assure it is effective, coordinated, and consistent with the patients’ plan of care and provided in compliance with all application regulations, professional hospice standards and agency policies. Prior to joining HNI, Eileen was a speaker, workshop facilitator, and consultant for, “Embracing Death/Embracing Joy,” a unique education program focusing on end-of-life issues and rebuilding after loss. She also served as an on-call nurse, volunteer coordinator and intake liaison at Heartland Hospice and Home Care, a pathway project manager for Advocate Health Care Systems, and a hospice program coordinator and nursing supervisor at Home Health Plus. Early in her career, she worked as an adult oncology and hospice nurse at Lutheran General Hospital. A graduate of Wesley-Passavant School of Nursing, she holds her CHPN certification. A resident of Lake Zurich, Eileen is married and has four children.

Beth Raseman
Vice President of Foundation
Beth is leading the fundraising effort for the new facility in addition to overseeing fundraising activities to support general operating for HNI programs. Beth has over 17 years experience in fundraising and special events. As Vice President of the Foundation since 2005, one of Beth’s accomplishments includes starting the Friends of Hospice, a volunteer organization that supports the Foundation in its fundraising and community outreach efforts. In addition, she has expanded the number and type of events that are held throughout the service area. Her focus is on building relationships that strengthen Hospice of Northeastern Illinois’ ties with the community, donors, foundations, government, and organizations. A resident of Barrinigton, she also serves as the Senior Trustee for the Village of Barrington. Beth has a Bachelor of Arts of Economics from the University of Notre Dame. Beth is married and has three children.

Lynn Sprangers
Director of Human Resources
Lynn has twenty years experience in the Human Resources field and joined Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in June of 2006. Previously she had spent seventeen years in Human Resources management in the manufacturing sector. She has worked for small, mid-sized and international companies and has always been involved in corporate & divisional roles in a generalist management capacity overseeing HR & strategic development. Prior to HR she utilized her degree in merchandising and distribution. She is active in her community as the former Elgin U-46 Business Education Partnership liaison, a board member of Well Child Center, Vice President and volunteer of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and continues to be an active member of her church. Lynn is a past graduate of the Elgin Leadership Academy, board member of Fox Valley Women in Management, Chamber of Commerce and Illinois Manufacturing Association. She has a certificate in HR and was certified in Achieve Global Training in leadership and customer service. Lynn currently resides in Elgin with her husband and has two grown daughters and a granddaughter.

Mary Todd
Director of Communication and Public Relations
Joining Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois in the spring of 2009, Mary has been instrumental in guiding the agency’s marketing operations, specifically focusing on the strategic planning, execution and measurement of the marketing plan for the agency’s new community-based palliative care program and launching a multi-media marketing campaign for the grand opening of the Pepper Family Hospice Home and Center for Care. Prior to joining the agency, Mary held various management positions at Motorola, Inc. and was an independent communications consultant working with a variety of corporate clients, non-profits and small start-ups before joining the agency. Her work product has been honored by key industry groups such as the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and PR Week. Mary resides in Barrington with her husband and three children.

Anne Van Oost
Chief Financial Officer
Anne Van Oost is Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of HNI. She has more than 20 years experience in finance and accounting profession. Anne joined Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in 2002 and oversees all organizational financial activities, including accounting and business planning operations, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, budgeting and cost analysis. In addition she oversees the areas of Information Technology, Health Information, Support Services and Facilities. Anne is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago where she received a BA in finance, graduating magna cum laude, and an MBA degree. She is a Certified Hospice Administrator and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. She has also been actively involved in the community, serving on numerous boards over the past several years including Village Trustee for the Village of Cary for over ten years; Chairman of the Finance Committee and Public Works Committee; and other not-for-profit organizations. Anne is married and has three children.

Siobhan White
Director of Programs
Siobhan White is responsible for management of hospice volunteers, LIFT, Palliative Care, Latino and Veteran Outreach programs. She is responsible for bereavement, staff chaplains, integrative therapists, and social workers. Siobhan has a background in administration, law and social services. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and was a Vice President at First Chicago Corporation after receiving her JD at the John Marshall Law School. She has extensive experience in foster care, homeless services and prevention, inclusion programming for special education students and affordable housing. She lives in Arlington Heights where she serves on the board of affordable housing agencies and is Commissioner on the Village housing Commission. She and her husband Kevin have three children.
